What is Speed Dating?
When you take part in speed dating, you will usually go to a bar or similar location to find true love. The event is normally sponsored by a company or organization. Without conversation skills, the relationship won’t have a lot of potential for the future.

These are people you may never have had a chance to meet otherwise. Plus, speed dating gives you a chance to have a captive audience at least for a couple of minutes. Cons of Speed Dating
While you may find plenty to enjoy about speed dating, there are some drawbacks. For one, you only get to communicate for a couple of minutes and it’s hard to believe that you can make any real decision about a person based on the simple communication. Most decisions will be based on shallow likes and dislikes, primarily based on appearance which is rarely the best start for a promising future to find true love.
You may also have a hard time finding someone who will share your own cultural values. Many of the people are only going to be looking for a casual hook-up and not true love, while you’re probably hoping to find something a little more serious.
Furthermore, because both you and the person you have an interest in have to write one another’s numbers down in order to get one another’s contact information, there are going to be plenty of times when you don’t meet someone or your true love.
The Ruling on Speed Dating
Speed dating isn’t for everyone but if you don’t go in expecting to find true love and if you just want to spend an evening meeting new people and having a good time then you should definitely consider giving this a try. Even if you only try speed dating once, it will be a memorable experience.
